Well another day in paradise I must say. I pulled a real doozie yesterday. I got up about 3:30 AM to get a glass of water and while going back to bed I was walking down my hallway and tripped on my rug. Now it gets better. I not only trip over the rug but them my face hits the edge of the front bedroom door jam. OUCH!!!!!!! Well, I know look like I just went 10 rounds with Ali and of course he won. I have now got the biggest, fattest, most humongous black eye that no 51 year old woman should be sporting around. What will people think? All I can say is, I got into a hell of a fight with my throw rug and door jam and they won!

Kissing Cousins

These are my 2 precious grand-daughters who have my whole heart. These 2 little girls mean the world to me. You can tell how tightly Isis is holding onto Jayla that she seriously loves her cousin and you see Jayla isn't resisting at all. They play together for the most part pretty good but there are the moments when a 3.5 year old will get a little selfish with her toys. We celebrated our Easter the day before Easter since I was told that the weather was not going to be that great on Sunday. We had loads of fun. My 3 grandsons were there as well, there names are Jayquan (12), Joe (11), and Jaymier(8). We made fish that were really cool. We then had an egg walk. This is where the kids stood behind the line and we had them put a non-hard boiled egg on a spoon and whoever made it across the lawn without dropping and breaking their egg was the winner. Of course we had to do this game a couple of times since the little girls were going to get beat out everytime by the boys. The girls were given BIG ladle spoons from the kitchen. The winners got a prize which always makes the games more exciting. I told them why Easter is usually on a different day but always on the first Sunday after the first new moon. I also told them the Greatest Story Ever Told, which is really what Easter is all about. My Grandson's all go to church on Sunday so that did know what Easter was all about which I was very grateful for. Then, we had our Easter Egg Hunt! The adults hid the eggs and the little girls got to look for eggs first and then came the boys. WHOOSSHH! It told them all of 5 minutes to find all the eggs and 2 of them had $5.00 in them. Joe and Jaymier found the money eggs! Boy, were the excited about that. We had a wonderful meal of bar-b-qued hamburgers, hotdogs, and ribs alone with potatoes salad and all the fixings. Darcy brought a carrot cake from Costco. Costco has to make one of the best carrot cakes I think I've ever had. YUMMMYY !!!! I brought the Razzleberry Pie and the Banana Pudding....There were Easter bags full of candy passed out that their Memaw and I had put together and I made them all a little container filled with Jelly beans in them. I think all in all we all had a very, very nice Easter day.

Well, I have finally started getting my scrapbook room organized but once again. Isn't that what we all say? New year, new or old sayings. Well, I haven't had my scrapbook room for even a year now and with me going back to college and all this has to be a priority for me. I am going to post some pics from when I first started the transformation of my extra bedroom into my now "scrapbook room", from what it was before...storage. You see, I live in a very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom modular home. I also have a full laundry room but all this comes at a cost. I only have a little over a 1,000 sq. ft. home. This is not very much room once you were accustomed to living in an 1800 sq. ft. home with a humongous back and front yard. Well there ya go... the short and long of it.

I am also going to start posting the cards and scrapbook pages that I have made and will continue to make on here. That way I can see what I've accomplished along with anyone else who would like to see my work. O.K. I've not created anything new this year but believe me it's coming and very, very soon. God bless and remember to always have fun at what ya do!
